Tangipahoa Cub Scout Day Camp

Dates: May 25 - May 29, 2026

Location: Camp Glenwood, 27091 LA-40, Folsom, LA 70437

Time: 8:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.  (Drop-off: 8:15 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.  Pick-up: 3:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Who: Registered Cub Scouts (Open to Youth who are not registered in Scouting also.)

Rates:

Youth Participants

  • $120 (Early Rate before 4/20/2026)
  • $130 (Base Rate from 4/21/2026 to 5/4/2026)
Adults (must wear a blue sapphire t-shirt)
  • $15 (Early Rate before 4/20/2026)
  • $15 (Base Rate from 4/21/2026 to 5/4/2026)
Sibling/Gators (must have an adult volunteering at camp.)
  • $35 (Early Rate before 4/20/2026)
  • $35 (Base Rate from 4/21/2026 to 5/4/2026)
Camp Shirts: If the Youth, Adult, or Sibling would like an additional Camp Shirt, be sure to order it by May 3, 2026 for $15 each under the 'Product' field when checking out ($20 each for larger sizes.)
 
Food:  Parents are responsible for packing their Scout’s lunch, snacks, and drinks.  They will need a refillable water bottle.

Clothing:  A camp shirt, shorts with pockets, and belt loops are recommended.  Closed-toed/closed-heel shoes and socks are required, (i.e. tennis shoes, etc.)  No sandals or crocs.   A bathing suit, rash guard, and towel for water activities will be needed.

Volunteer Information:

  • Packs must provide adult volunteers.
  • THERE MUST BE ONE (1) ADULT FOR EVERY THREE (3) YOUTH (1:3 Ratio)
  • THERE MUST BE ONE (1) ADULT FOR EVERY (1) TIGER (rising 1st Grade) CUB (1:1 Ratio)
  • Adults who sign up to volunteer and later find themselves unable to attend Day Camp are asked to find a replacement.
  • Day Camp cannot happen if we do not have volunteers to assist the Youth with their fun learning experience!
  • All staff/volunteers must have a valid Safeguarding Youth Training certificate (formerly known as Youth Protection Training (YPT))..
  • All staff/volunteers must wear the official camp shirt.
