The Great Cub Scout Treasure Quest: X Marks the Spot

When: March 20-22, 2026
Where: Avondale Scout Reservation, Camp McGee
Cost: This is an Adventure Pass event!

  • Each Cub Scout will receive a 2026 Cub Famiy Campout Patch.
  • Registration fee for siblings age 4 and under is $0.00 (FREE).
  • Registration fee for adults and non-scouts is $10.00 each.
  • Registration fee for all participants will increase $10.00 starting March 1, 2026.
  • Important: All youth must be accompanied by a registered adult. Individual youth registrations are not allowed.

Registrations will be corrected if not charged properly. In January to February family registrations (up to 6 members) are capped at $30 per household.  Starting March 1, 2026, the family registrations (up to 6 members) are capped at $60 per household. Please contact the Council office if you have registration questions or a family larger than 6 participants.

Camping & Check-In

Camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights.

  • Youth (S-L) & Adult (S-XL): $20.00
  • Adult (2X-4X): $25.00

Lunch ($10 per ticket)Capped at $30 per household

  • Option 1: 2 Hot Dogs, Chips, and a Drink
  • Option 2: 1 Hamburger, Chips, and a Drink

Dinner ($12 per ticket)Capped at $36 per household

  • Entree, Side, Drink, and a Treat

Important: Bring your own mess kit (plate, bowl, cup, utensils).  We use the three-bucket system for cleaning—Wash (soap), Rinse, and Sanitize.

Health & Safety Requirements
All attendees (youth and adults) must have a current Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A & B). These forms should remain with your unit or family.
