REGISTRATION CONSIDERATIONS: There have been two opportunities that have come up to enhance our 2026 National Jamboree Contingent.

The first opportunity is that the National Council program changes have allowed us to modify the registration option of our contingent from an all-male group to a family unit of 20 Scouts and adults.

The second opportunity is that we are joining the other Scouts throughout South Louisiana to travel on their bus and follow their itinerary. This will allow us to reduce costs for our attendees to $2,750 – barring any late fees.

We have enough bus space for our 20 Scouts and Adults. Our new Contingent Point of Contacts are listed at the bottom of this message, including Mitch Batten.

We are allowed to bring additional adults that would like to attend with the stipulation from national that the individuals attending more than our 2 required leaders will need to serve in a staffing role for 6 of the 7 program days and will be issued a partial fee refund once returning home of $400.

There are some meeting dates that they will need to forward to you guys ASAP. The 2 adults that were selected for EAC are Cory Peltier and Jeffery Price, your Scouts are in great hands, these 2 gentlemen have attended the Jamboree before and will know the “ropes”.
