South Louisiana Council Program Retreat
Why Attend?
This retreat is all about breaking down barriers and building bridges. For the first time, members of the various program teams across the newly combined South Louisiana Council will come together in one place to:
- Build relationships across committees and program areas
- Share ideas and best practices
- Discuss opportunities for collaboration
- Develop a unified vision for delivering exceptional programs to our youth
Whether you are already serving on a council or district committee or simply interested in becoming more involved, this retreat is an excellent opportunity to connect, learn, and help shape the future of Scouting in South Louisiana.

Youth Attendance
Youth are welcome to attend; however, this is not a youth program event. The retreat is focused on planning, collaboration, and relationship-building among program volunteers.
Youth participants should attend with the understanding that they will participate in breakout sessions related to the program area in which they serve as leaders (OA, Climbing Team, etc.).
All youth attendees must:
- Be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or
- Be under the supervision of appropriate two-deep unit leadership in accordance with Scouting policies.
Join us as we begin building a stronger, more connected South Louisiana Council program team and work together to create outstanding experiences for the youth we serve.
