The cost to support the year-round Scouting program is $360 per year, per Scout. We respectfully ask you to consider donating $360 a year ($30 a month) to support costs associated with each Scout and Scouting family.

WHY IT MATTERS?

The Investment in Character (IIC) Campaign represents the council’s largest source of revenue, keeping Scouting an affordable, effective youth development program.  The giving campaign funds a support system for youth and volunteers that partner with the Istrouma Area Council, Scouting America, where all youth deserve to be leaders.

ABOUT US

The Istrouma Area Council (IAC) serves 14 parishes in Louisiana. We provide a quality Scouting program to co-ed youth with adult volunteers supporting Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, Sea Scouts, and Exploring Posts. It is the mission of the Istrouma Area Council, Boys Scouts of America, to build character, citizenship and total fitness while preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over the course of their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
