The Istrouma Area Council presents the 2017 Cooking for Character Taste Fair

 

On Tuesday, August 29th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the Main Branch of the Goodwood Library the Istrouma Area Council Boy Scouts of America is hosting the 2017 Cooking for Character.  Individual tickets are $50.00 per person.  Corporate title sponsorships, food and auction item donations and opportunities are available.

Cooking for Character raises funds to provide opportunities for youth, of all backgrounds, to participate in Scouting programs.

Cooking for Character is a Taste Fair, Live/Silent Auction, and Bar. This Adults Only evening hosts around 300 participants.  Come join us in the support of our local area youth.  Your participation has a direct impact on the health of our region for generations to come.

This event is complete with live entertainment, stories, and networking. It’s an adult evening with program leaders and program supporters.  Come be a part of the fun. Come to support Scouting and support the healthy growth of our region.

The Istrouma Area Council, (IAC) serves 13 parishes in Louisiana and Wilkinson County, Mississippi. We provide a quality Scouting program to more than 7,600 co-ed youth. Over 2,911 adult volunteers support 285 Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Venturing Crews and Exploring Posts.
