Individual Registration and Renewal Changes

Scouting America provides an online process for member and unit renewals. Below are several resources to help ensure a smooth and efficient renewal experience. Renewal Dates to Know

START: Unit Renewal System Activated for the Key 3 in each unit on December 1, 2025.

LOGIN to my.scouting.org to confirm your access - if you have forgotten your username or password contact Margaret Brown @ 225-926-2697 or e-mail Margaret.Brown@Scouting.org.

FINISH:  The renewal process must be completed no later than January 31, 2026.

Fees (2025-2026)

• Adults $85
• Youth $150
• Scout Life magazine $15
• Administrative Fee 3%

Member and Unit Renewal Process

Unit renewal and member renewal are no longer the same. Membership is now a set 12-month term from the time of registration, regardless of when the unit renews. Youth and adult leader membership is separated from the unit renewal.
